The Association has received notice from AT&T that they have a project underway on the East side of our community in which they will be upgrading their existing infrastructure to extend fiber to the East side of the Community. This project may begin within the next 3 to 6 months depending on county permitting. AT&T will be laying fiber cable in designated easement areas. When AT&T is ready to work in your section, they will leave door hangers at member's doors 2-3 days before they are scheduled to begin. Once work commences, members will notice digging and boring throughout the community by AT&T contractors, some of which may go under easements found on member’s properties at the rear or side of end units. Any member’s that may have extended their property over a designated easement are to ensure that access to rear and side easements are made available to AT&T contractors should they request it. It is also important to note that if there is any damage to permanent construction built upon a member’s easement against our community governing documents or Miami Dade County Building Codes, AT&T will not repair that damage. At no time are members or their tenants permitted to deny access to easements regardless of the reason. AT&T has assured us that any disturbed areas will be restored at the end of construction. Any member experiencing any issues as a result of AT&T activities are asked to Contact Us so we can address those issues on your behalf. We will notify members via our community blog once we have more accurate start dates.
