iii) No tree shall be excessively pruned, also known as hatracking or flat-cutting. Hatracking is defined as severely pruning a tree by cutting back more than 25%-30% of the tree canopy in violation of Miami Dade County Code of Ordinances, Chapter 24.

The Board of Directors adopted new Rules & Regulations at the duly and properly noticed meeting held on June 7th, 2016. After adoptions, the new Rules & Regulations were subsequently recorded in Book 30117 / Pages 3092-3104 of the Public Records of Miami Dade County. The newly adopted Ruled & Regulations supersede all prior versions of this document and amends the Rules & Regulations recorded on May 7th, 2015 in OR Book 29607 / Pages 1045-1061 of the Public Records of Miami Dade County.
